Welcome to Octopost. This guide walks you through everything — from connecting your first account to publishing across every platform automatically.

What is Octopost?

Octopost is a social media automation tool that lets you compose content once and publish it everywhere — YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X. Upload your video or image, let AI write your captions, and either post immediately, schedule it, or add it to an automated posting queue.

Your first post in 3 steps

1. 1

   Connect your social accounts

   Head to Connected Accounts and link the platforms you want to post to. Each platform has its own OAuth flow — you'll be redirected to authorize Octopost.
2. 2

   Upload and compose

   Go to Compose, upload a video or image (or choose from your Content Library), and write a caption — or let AI generate one for you.
3. 3

   Post, schedule, or queue

   Choose to post immediately, schedule it for a specific date and time, or add it to a Tentacle queue for automated cross-platform posting.
