Composing Posts

The Compose page takes you from a raw video or image to a published post — with the caption written for you, if you want.

Create a post

   Add your media

   Drag and drop a video or image onto the upload area, or click it to browse your computer. Already uploaded it before? Click Choose from Library and reuse it. LinkedIn and X also support text-only posts, so for those two you can skip media entirely.

   Pick where it goes

   Toggle on the connected accounts you want to post to. You can select several platforms at once. Selecting YouTube adds a Title field, since YouTube videos need one.

   Write or generate the caption

   Type your caption and hashtags, or click Generate Caption & Hashtags and let the AI draft them in your voice — each selected platform gets its own version. Not quite right? Use the angle buttons (Shorter, Funnier, Professional, Bold, Question hook) to steer a regeneration. Details in AI Captions.

   Check platform options

   Each selected platform has its own settings — YouTube category and language, TikTok and Instagram options, and so on. The Normalize audio toggle (on by default for TikTok and Instagram) evens out your video's loudness so it sounds right next to other posts.

   Choose how to send it

   Pick Now, Schedule, or Queue at the bottom, then hit the button.

Three ways to post

Now publishes immediately to every account you selected. Schedule asks for a date and time in the future and puts the post on your Schedule calendar. Queue adds the post to one of your Tentacles, which posts it automatically when its turn comes. If your team requires approvals, the Queue button becomes Submit and the post goes to a reviewer first.

Not ready to post? Save your work as a draft and come back later — media, caption, selected accounts, and settings are all remembered. Your drafts appear right on the Compose page, ready to load with one click.
